At 44 pages, this is a really quick read. Hayden is about to leave the country and decides that if she’s going to put her life on the line, she wants one night of just sex to erase the memory of her cheating ex. The problem is instead of a random guy, she winds up locked in a storage room with her best friend, Jace.

Neither Hayden nor Jace has ever admitted their true feelings for each other. Both are afraid to ruin their friendship. But the second they come together, they can’t deny it any longer.  I loved the chemistry between them. It was sweet and hot at the same time. The only thing I didn’t love was the ending. I felt more needed to happen before that point, but it’s a novella, so that doesn’t leave much time for more to happen and I get that.

Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable read that you can easy breeze through in one sitting.
